Katulampo waterfall, Gianyar

Kanto Lampo Waterfall, located in Beng Village, Gianyar, is one of Bali’s most photogenic and easily accessible natural attractions. Only about 20 minutes from central Ubud, this waterfall offers a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and relaxation for visitors of all ages. The journey begins with a short walk down a well-maintained staircase surrounded by lush tropical greenery. Within minutes, you’ll hear the gentle sound of cascading water leading you to the scenic riverside area.

Unlike many tall waterfalls in Bali, Kanto Lampo is relatively low, but its unique shape makes it stand out. The water flows down a wide, multi-layered rock formation, creating a stunning natural backdrop that resembles a giant stone staircase draped in streaming water. This makes it an ideal spot for photography, with many visitors climbing onto the rocks to pose for memorable pictures. The shallow pool at the base also allows you to cool off and enjoy the refreshing water without strong currents.

Kanto Lampo offers basic but convenient facilities such as changing rooms, toilets, and small local stalls selling snacks and drinks. Local guides are often available to help you take great photos and assist with navigating the slippery rocks.
