True to its name, Lahangan Sweet delivers a magical view, especially at sunrise when golden light slowly illuminates Mount Agung and the surrounding landscape.

Reaching Lahangan Sweet is part of the adventure. From the parking area, visitors can choose to hike uphill for around 20–30 minutes or hire a local jeep taxi to take them closer to the top. The road can be steep and rocky, so many travelers prefer the jeep option for convenience and safety. Once at the top, the effort is immediately rewarded with spectacular views.

The main attraction at Lahangan Sweet is its dramatic viewpoint facing Mount Agung. On clear mornings, the volcano stands majestically in front of a sea of clouds, creating a surreal and unforgettable scene. The soft morning mist, combined with fresh mountain air, makes the atmosphere peaceful and refreshing. Sunrise is the most popular time to visit, usually between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM. Watching the first rays of sunlight hit Mount Agung is a magical experience. However, the viewpoint is also beautiful during sunset, especially when the sky turns orange and pink behind the mountains.
