Cooking class

Experience the heart of Balinese culture through food with the Ubud Cooking Class, a hands-on journey into traditional Balinese cuisine. This experience is more than just cooking — it’s about connecting with local people, culture, and flavors that have been passed down for generations.

Your day begins with a visit to a traditional Balinese market, where you’ll walk among colorful stalls filled with fresh spices, tropical fruits, and local ingredients. Here, you’ll learn how to choose the best produce while discovering the stories behind Bali’s culinary traditions. It’s a fun and lively way to meet local vendors and see everyday Balinese life up close.

Next, head to a traditional kitchen surrounded by rice fields and gardens. Guided by friendly local chefs, you’ll learn the secrets of authentic Balinese recipes — from mixing aromatic spices to cooking signature dishes like sate lilit, lawar, and nasi goreng. The atmosphere is warm, interactive, and full of laughter as everyone cooks together.

After the class, sit down and enjoy the delicious meal you’ve prepared, surrounded by nature and new friends. You’ll leave not only with a full stomach but also with new cooking skills and a deeper appreciation for Bali’s culture.
